About Coolidge Hall

Here at Coolidge Hall on the Topsfield Fairgrounds, we pride ourselves on providing one of the best wedding venues on the North Shore. Whether you are having your ceremony, reception, or both events on the Fairgrounds, our number one goal is to provide you with a location for the wedding of your dreams. To provide the ultimate experience for our Brides and Grooms, we offer extensive customization and flexibility, as each wedding we host is unique to the couple getting married.

Spaces Available

Although most of the events are centered in Coolidge Hall, we have a variety of other spaces available for use. Coolidge Square, our beautifully landscaped courtyard located just outside of the Hall, is perfect for an outdoor cocktail hour.

What is used as the “Picnic Area” during the Fair can be transformed into an oasis for the perfect outdoor ceremony – complete with a rustic stage for the bride and groom to be wed on. For those who are looking for a more casual event, the Picnic Area can also be used for outdoor games and festivities during the reception.

Flexible Seating and Table Arrangements in the Main Hall

In the Main Hall, tables and chairs are pre-set by our event staff, according to the floor plan you arrange with our Wedding Coordinator prior to your Wedding Day. There are plenty of round tables and rectangular tables available for use, as well as chairs, at no extra cost. We also welcome Brides and Grooms to use furniture, décor, and other items from outside rental companies to help bring their Wedding Day vision to life!

Full Catering Kitchen

Coolidge Hall also features a full kitchen, perfect for any size caterer. An oven, stove top, several refrigeration units, and other amenities are available for your caterer’s use. From high-end, black-tie caterers, to buffet-style caterers, or even just the family chef, the Fairgrounds offers the flexibility for you to use almost any outside caterer of your choosing.

However, if you are looking for more guidance on great local services, our staff can also provide you with a list of suggested caterers who our weddings and other events have enjoyed working with in the past.

The kitchen is secluded in a corner of the Hall and caterers are invited to use the back entrance, eliminating any disruption of your guests or the event.

What dates are available to book Coolidge Hall?

Coolidge Hall is available for rental from November 1st to April 30th and May 1st to Labor Day. Pricing for wedding packages is dependent on the requested day. Please see the Packages page for more information regarding pricing.

How many guests can Coolidge Hall hold?

Coolidge Hall can hold up to 200 guests

What does the rental fee for Coolidge Hall include?

The rental fee for Coolidge Hall includes Coolidge Hall and all of its amenities, as well as access to our private bridal suite and outdoor patio for a cocktail hour.

Can the ceremony and reception both be held at the venue?

Yes, both the ceremony and reception can be held on the fairgrounds

Is there parking available on site for guests?

Ample free parking is available for guests, including spots close to the entrance for those who need it.

What food and beverage items are offered at Coolidge Hall?

Coolidge Hall bartenders are available at $200 for one or $300 for two, with two required for events with over 100 guests. They can serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. The Hall also features a full kitchen with ovens, refrigeration, and other amenities for your caterer, and we’re happy to provide a list of trusted local vendors upon request.

Will there be staff available on-site for the ceremony or reception?

A staff member will be on-site for the duration of your wedding to assist with any needs.

Does the venue provide seating arrangements or will we need to rent from an outside vendor?
